I don't take offense to be called a cracker *** or white boy (although Michael Richards didn't like it!)- I don't even know what it implies to be honest, but there are historical racial ties to the word which obviously offends people. There's too many arguments but it was wrong to do what he did. A true professional comic could have come up with a better response to someone "disturbing" his show- which ironically, they need to appear better by the ability to ad lib etc (it's always better when you go to these show and they poke fun at someone there, but there are lines that shouldn't be crossed) I remember going to one and the only two seats left were right in front of the stage (worst place to be at a comedy night) and I had all the jokes about what a good-looking girl was doing with an ugly bastard like me and all that stuff........

Anyway, I don't think Michael Richards will do many un-scripted shows from now on...... lol

i think that's pretty spot on.

With the coverage both this, the Ian Thorpe thing and other lame stories are getting at the moment I am appealing to America to please invade someone and give the media something to do.

Still don't know how they got away with using 'shiksa' on Seinfeld. If you know any Jews it's actually a very derogatory term, more so than you thnk... a bit like calling non-Jew's Goy. It actually means "female abomination".

It's was Larry David who carried Seinfeld and his show, that's why he kept on going with his own sitcom after Seinfeld finished. Neither any of the actors in the Seinfeld did any good, only B-grade stuff.

I know the point you are trying to make but a couple of things first.

Kevin Bloody Wilson is very respected by, and has a lot of respect for, the aboriginals - his best mate Nigel is aboriginal. Above this he is known for controversial humour- you wouldn't take your kids to see him (although I grew up listening to all his music which I think is very clever)

That particular song you metioned has no mention of "boongs" at all- it has two direct references to aboriginals and one of those references is in the voice of the aboriginal neighbour poking fun that at least they don't have aboriginals living next door to them and the fact that Allan bond just never got used to "living next door to Abbo's". That's it.

His songs and acts are not filled or fuelled with racial discrimation- there's not an underlying evident racial delivery of his comments and that's the difference........ i think he would upset more women than aboriginals personally and only because he is crude- not disrespectful.

That's how I see it anyway and as always peoples opinions are open to interpretation.

Jason Alexander is as funny as hell in everything he's been in, problem is he looks so ordinary he isnt going to get any leading roles in the 'perfect world' Hollywood tries to convey and the public wants.
