hey, im sure you all have a mate who can just pour liquid into his mouth and it dissapears when without swallowing. some people call it a slipthroat etc.
how does this work is this something you are just born with or something you can learn to do? i have looked everywhere and i was wondering if anyoe can shed some light on it? i have tried with water but just drown.

I think its something you learn. I learn how to do it as a youngin, when I had tonsillities, it hurt too much to swallow, so i sort of forced drink and soup by somehow opening the throat.
I'm not a drinker, but when I do I make it count. |

screw slipthroat, thats for porn stars hehe make a good beer bong which uses a larger funnel with a shorter tube 1.2m long (so people can hold it up straight) experiment with differant diameter tubes (too wide or skinny and you have to swallow, suprisingly enough skinny ones just force the drink into your stomach and have proved alot faster to drink through) when i was younger and poor (and underage) i just used to take my funnel to partys (had a half twist reticulation valve) and i used to walk around and people would top it up for me haha while i was drinking they would just pour more and more in. after much time in hospital and 2 day hangovers and gravel rash from always being taken home in shopping trolleys and constainltly fallin out of em, i have hung up my funnel named 'the intoxicator' now when i drink i cough up this brown skinlike sort of crapp but it dosnt stop me,

same sort of gizmo but we used to get a straw and put it in the stubby (obviously had to be long enough to stick quite a way out) and then slam the stubby back with the straw NOT in your mouth. just like a funnel allowing the air to sit on top and push the beer down without that glug-glug effect.
which also brings back memories of leavers and funneling from a fairly decen sized road cone with a small length (6inches or so) of tubing out the end....that created some interesting results needless to say :monkes: |

I used to do beer bongs all the time. It was our preferred drinking method. Skolling on the other hand, I can do a schooner of the non fizzy stuff, in 3.4 secs. But I still have to swallow, I cant not. I have tried to not swallow, but I end up getting it everywhere.
