There is a switch on the opposite side to the power switch, right near your analog stick (basically above where you insert the memory stick). That should be it. If you have a wireless network set up is should be able to detect it once you turn wireless mode on.

My missus got one, I did an automatic detection for a wireless connection (I have a wireless router)... Found my network and 3 other unprotected networks with excellent connection in my lounge room... I like this little machine... :

thanks for that, now i have one more question. how do u transfer videos onto the PSP? i added a folder named MP_ROOT or something and then a folder inside that but they dont seem to work.

ive just purchased a 2 gig memory stick off ebay, works a treat! except i still cant manage to put videos onto it. the video file is 700kbps and it mpeg4. but it stil doesnt seem to work.

pleeeease help
