Cheers Bill. I think my computers security is overactive or something. Would go to the page but wouldn't let the photos download there. On the other link, the story on the stug that was pulled from that ship wreck in the black sea was an interesting read.
Might go check out the Luftwaffe site now. Oh yeah, GO THE FORDS!!!! The drought is broken at last. |

I had a sensational webite that covered artillery, tanks and aircraft from ww2, but it seems to have been removed. It was a belgian site, or something like that. Really really really good. Cant find it anymore :
Anyway, heres some good reading http://www.achtungpanzer.com http://www.battlefield.ru |

I like to follow the history of the war (39-45) as my father was in Borneo etc, my only collection is some of my fathers WW2 gear & also my "Lee Enfield .303" . When I bought it about 15 yrs ago , Dad had it "pulled down & back together in minutes" damned amazing , 50 years since he'd touched one and hadn't forgotten a thing . Guess it shows the training I suppose .
Wish I still had our old truck , WW2 Ford Army Blitz (pic in 30 cwt truck thread) Dad bought it New after the war , would be worth heaps now. For the guys Interested in Military Aircraft , you may be able to arrange a weekend run to the Temora Aviation Museum (NSW). ( Link for you to have a look ) I've been there myself and it's a great day. ( 4-5 hrs from Sydney or 6-7 hrs from Melb.) http://www.aviationmuseum.com.au/ Here's a link to the Dubbo Military Museum , I've never been there (but would like to go one day) http://www.hwy.com.au/~milmuse/index.html Maybe one of the guys from Dubbo could help with some info .
