just looking for some advice guys, as my other thread said i was having some dramas with my car. The auto sparky found the E.C.U to be faulty (at least he thinks so) he's tried the B.C.M and done a few other test but all else seems to be fine.
Now im wondering if anyone knows of a Manual E.C.U that is in perfect working order i can buy or possibly borrow to do some diagnosis as a brand new one is around 800 and i dont really want to spend that if its not the fault. or Is there an aftermarket E.C.U that i could use instead of the factory item, I thought this may work out better in the long run as i want to get it all tuned eventually and possibly go even further with it (blown). thanks in advance for any advice. eugene p.s It's a SII XR8 220 i don't know if you can use other series ecu's like SI/SIII or it has to be same series and everything.
