Default Exhaust and suspension

I'm looking a spending some cash on the car, in particular on an exhaust and new suspension and shocks.

I'm looking at a 2 1/2" system but am tossing around the idea of extractors and hf cat. Performance gains are a given, but how much am i looking at for the whole system (extractors, cat, 2 1/2", muffler and tip). I'm mostly looking for a little bit of a deep note, nothing loud. Will the pipe on it's own achieve this?

The other thing is the suspension. Due to the steepness of the driveway, sl or ssl might be out of the question. So lows (xr8 stock height) is my next best bet. I should get about a 1" drop? definately better than 4WD. : What sort of price am i looking at to get the springs installed and can i keep the old shocks or do they need to be replaced with shorter versions? Bear in mind my fronts are soft as it is so will probably need to be replaced anyway.

Any approximate pricing or suggestions are, as always, greatly appreciated. Also any recommended fitters are also appreciated.
