i HAD A PLAY WITH THE SCANNER TODAY AND FOUND THAT IT DOES HAVE TO BE PLUGGED IN TO SELF TEST AND DATA READOUT. iTS THE EARLY ABS THAT IS DONE BY BRIDGING PINS AND READING FLASH.
