ive owned 2 AU's, and both had noisy shoes even after being replaced with new.

in the end i gave up trying to adjust it perfectly, and loosened the shoe at the rotor, so then it would take about 10 clicks of the handbrake lever to fully engage. No noise, and handbrake worked perfectly.
