I made one of those myself over the weekend also, its not too hard. If i can do it, i recon anyone can! Although i did have some pretty good instructions and a template from JC to go by! :P
If at the very least, it looks awesome. The aluminium feels like it does well to keep the heat out. I thrashed my car around for about half an hour, and the box was just warm to the touch.
