You need the 4 digit pin code, which should have come with the car. If you haven't got it, you need to ring Ford for it. It came on a card, which should be located in the owners manual wallet. Sometimes it's been put in the actual manual itself in pen. I hope you have it.
If not.
Here's the thing, if you have a good relationship with a Ford dealer, they may give you the code over the phone for nicks; you need to give them the VIN.
Or, you may need to take it in, they may still be good to you and give it to you for nothing,
or they may actually charge you. I've got one for free and had to pay for another in the past. I think I paid $15 last time.
