Good post on the LSD's. I've gone the detroit locker route to do away with burnt out clutch packs......admitedly, an earlier model car.
I'm still trying to master this staging burnout! I'm running 28" Hoosiers.....I hear they are made from a synthetic rubber? Do these things just not smoke very much?
I'll pop it in 2nd and spin it to 7000 and still not generate much smoke (71mph/114kph). I've tried 3rd once....it spins up OK, but I don't want to strain the driveline too much.....still not much smoke :( (106mph/170kph).
It still spins a tad off the line...not much...which could be more of a tuning setup thing which I'll work on. Would be nice to fire an infrared gun at them to check temps.
