I personally think the 450x300 is a little small.
In the pic above of the red falcon, that has taken ALOT of work to do, the egg crate rubbish has been removed and its not going back on.
The actual bar support you see there has been moved forward and the front bar has been chopped and changed on the inside so it can fit back on. If you look closely at it you can see the brackets and the mounting points. That front support now sits where the egg crate stuff used to be.
Its alot of work, but its easier to do it this way to make the front bar fit back on properly because you dont have to chop out as much of the bar. Chopping a front bar up to fit a cooler behind it makes them a little flimsy and weak. But its alot less work.
But doing this the front end isnt as strong as stock, and if you have a front ender it will do a little more damage and either way your cooler will need replacing.
