Hey guys
Would love to hear what your opinion is on diffeences between Street utes and BNS utes Just a read a facebook status with someone saying a massive bar and aerials is still street cause they have airbrushing My opinion is it isnt but what is yours |

Well, i live out bush (sorta...lol) and around here we have lots of utes...
To me, a B'n'S ute is a practical country ute/eskie/bed with bullbar for roo smashing and CB's, plus stickers of various type... There seems to be a trend of doing this, but rendering the ute sorta useless on a dirt road by adding crappy 18in+ chrome rims, big lowering jobs etc...defeats the purpose hey...

Love the B&S utes...Always have and always will. I prefer them over the street utes any day.

If it has a bullbar its a BnS piece of junk.
I dont rate them at all. Worlds quickest way to take a good ute and destroy it. |

street utes tend to be tastefully modified in both a visual sense and performance sense and a BnS ute is a utes worst nightmare as its a fast track to the trash bin.

Haha, I wonder how many street utes due real ute work? I.e. have something in the back, underneath that lockable hard cover. How many of em can take a proper payload in the back?
Personally I like BnS utes/panos. But I know there is a place for them also. And living in a city again. I have no need for one. If I was to move to the country again. I would buy one again. P.s. A BnS ute with airbrushing is still a BnS ute, just with airbrushing

I might be 'city' but I'd take a street ute over a BnS (what does that stand for btw?) any day off the week, no question.

Haha city cars. Stuff that, BnS and lift are go. Here in the city, them roo bars are good for stupid pedestrians that cant stay on the flamin footpath where they belong.

Simple_ a BnS Ute is one that is covered in stickers, has a massive heavy oversized probably illegal bullbar on the front that ruins your steering, handling, and probably your airbag deployment, and which even guys with normal bullbars out here in the country goes "Look at that idiot...".
 I'd even lay money on there being more stereotyped "BnS" utes in the city than there are in the country... |

You have to laugh at the blokes that light their utes up trying to look like a truck.
Alot of BnS utes actually dont do much "work" either, just their owners making look like they do..goes both ways. Id never own anything BnS..but if its made with practicability in mind then no problems.. My old XD..  Did plenty of trips to bunnings and house reno's with it.

When I had my street ute I got wound up all the time. They'd call my lowered envi BA XR8 ute on 19's a princess ute. They were right, was useless/dangerous on most dirt roads around there.

I own a xr6t ute. Mags, lowered, hard lid, exhaust. The typical street mods (and 315kw doesnt hurt :p )
But i still throw a load in the back regulary. In fact today i helped my brother move some furniture. Ive towed trailers, thrown multiple car parts in the back. Used it as mobile tool box for friends at drag strip. I despise the BnS utes. Especially the ones who never leave town.

if i had a ute, i'd have a big bull bar on it (not f..king massive, just big enough) to fend off kangaroos.. not to look like a wanna be truck driver...

  Not so, the Ute is mine and it has it's practical applications.
