Default Tow electrics not working

I知 using the OEM loom with includes the plug and play module.

I致e enabled the fixed tow bar in the BCM using IDS.

40A fuse installed.

I致e done the 13-pin plug twice now and I知 using a Narva 13-pin round to 7-pin flat adapter.

Ok, stupid me forgot to install the relay that goes in to the loom.
It uses 3 pins with orange, white, and grey cables coming from it.
The orange and grey appear to be 2.5mm^2 cable.
Anybody know which relay I need to get?

On an LW Focus the tow bar module is not plug and play, it still needs to be programmed into the vehicle so it knows it now has trailer auxiliaries fitted. See 2nd point of step 14 of the exert from the instructions below.

I did IDS.

There are two options to program: fixed tow bar (common) and retractable (rare). I did the former I知 not 100% sure it works as it shows an error but when scanning the car for an info check it shows that option as being selected.

My module is a ConWysAG LED CFC Trailer module if that helps? The 13-pin plug end has Thule written on it.

I値l give it another crack. Does ForScan extended license have the tow enable function?

I知 using a VCX Nano with IDS and under ForScan it shows as a Ford VCM II.

I also realised that relay plug is not for a relay as 3-contacts is too little.

IDS didn’t work and my ELM with mod for FoCCCus is borked.

I was able to read the BCM using a regular ELM and FoCCCus.

Would rather do it via IDS though.

ForScan did not have a configure option to set the trailer module.

Successfully programmed.
Chose “with trailer” and also set to “13-pin module”. Still nothing.

Trailer module flashes indicator when connecting the trailer so it seems the module is fine.

The green plug in the boot. Only the brake signal appears to go high 12V and go into the trailer module, which makes sense as only the brake lights work. No signal for indicator.

Apparently there is a TSB where the OEM factory wiring needs to be changed as it was incorrect but I can't find it.

I'm thinking it's the CAN-data wire where they put them the wrong way around but not 100% sure.

I ended up in the end splicing the taillight side wiring and going direct to the tow plug.
It might I was able to use a trailer to move house so no complaints there. My rear park sensor are already muted so that wasn’t a problem for me.
