only issue with lowering is stopping the front skirt from scrapping on humps. One needs to go a bit slower and at an angle to avoid gravel rash on the paint.

XR5 springs! Seriously, I'm so happy with mine. 2 inches is a looooong way to drop something, you'll need short stroke shocks for a start, and you're going to suffer as far as ride quality and handling goes on anything less than brand new hotmix (and how much of THAT do we get?)

handling's great, and the ride quality hasn't suffered anywhere near like superlows do. Also, because the rate isn't as harsh, the stock dampers aren't as overworked to keep up.

Has any one considered getting Eibach pro kit springs and Koni sport yellow shocks before? Been reading on other forums that Koni yellows + Eibach pro kit combination is one of the best handling/comfort package for daily street driving. Never scene Koni yellows before but been told you can adjust the height to 3 different settings. Maybe it might help solve the problem about eibach pro kit springs being too high in the rear on a Focus. Can anyone help comfirm this?

i was for sure, but this just came about because it was cheap...The KONI yellow shocks are height adjustable on some cars by having seperate grooves for the C rings, which mount the spring platform. On the focus the rear springs don't mount in a coilover fashion, so you'd only get front adjustment if anything, unless the package converts the rear to coil-over arrangement (which is possible)
The XR5 springs dropped it significantly, it's about the same height as an XR5 (surprise surprise :P) RM.
