So if you had to choose one manual, would you say to get the Max Ellery???

Is this service still available?
I can't find any information or link to it anywhere, just a couple of references to it in different parts of the forum.

Can I join up and gain access to these manuals?

(Yes, I know I can buy them myself for hundreds of dollars but I don't want to do that.)

Bump. I have more or less the same question a couple of years later. Is this deal still on, for BA-F Futura/XTs? Also, is it possible to download, print, etc, as well as read? I'd rather my money went this site's way than to some dodgy vendor on Ebay.

Plus, what are the legalities of this situation anyway? I notice some of the vendors claiming that they have a right under GNU and that sort of thing. The other aspect is that it's not always clear which of those manuals cover repairs only, servicing only, and which are actually "factory" and written by Ford. I have my suspicions that some of them are slapping Ford markings on non-Ford documents. Anyone with stories to tell here?

Money down the drain buying the useless Gregorys one, 10 times the info on this website alone.

OK, it looks as if I'm going to have to get my post count up so I can PM a mod. Here's a couple of Ebay deals if anyone's interested. The second one informs me that theirs is not the "original factory" manual, although I think we may have had a language problem. Both are same size/pages.

BTW, does anyone have experience with RapidShare? (which has some relevance to the subject of BA repair manuals if you dig around). Say I want to download 149 Mb - how many rapids does that require? Can I just do an on-line survey, earn 60 or so rapids, and then get access for a day? And what is the waiting interval before downloads commence? Their help pages aren't very informative.

I'll keep the info to a minimum as there may be copyright issues involved.

If you go to http://rapid-search-engine.com/ and search for something like "(name and model of your car ) workshop manual" you might be surprised at what turns up.

Should you find something that interests you, you'd click on "Download" then "Download" again, then wait for the timer to run down 45 seconds, then click "Regular Download".

Not that I would ever download copyright material but you'd be safe to assume that a file that you might find will be virus free.

PM me if you need clarification but it's a simple procedure.
