A next-gen console is not in the cards, so I'll have to make do with my trusty PS2.
Does anyone have a favourite driving game? I'm currently playing NFS Carbon, but I'm looking for something with better driving physics. I'm looking for something that's easy to pick up and play (like the Burnout or Ridge Racer series), and doesn't have to be super-detailed (like the Gran Turismo series). Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'd still suggest Gran Turismo 4.
Plenty in it for pickup and play kinda stuff. |
