It is called performance blue, although from the photos I have seen it looks like a fairly light shade of blue. It may be like the ST170 imperial blue paint and 'change' colour depending on the time of day, weather conditions, lighting etc.

Regardless of the colour, your a lucky so and so to have seen one already. I Can't wait until I lay eyes on one.

I DON'T want to see one. I'll end up wanting to upgrade the LS Zetec we just bought a few months ago!

Performance blue is not metallic I don't think, Imperial Blue was metallic and had more purple in it. Perf Blue seems like a flatter blue, it's the same blue as on the Fiesta ST at the Motorshow in Sydney last year.

Well technically speaking the ST170 paint is not metallic but rather "pearlescent" - according to the dealer that sold me the car anyway.

Performance blue is metallic. All the ST colours are metallic except white and red.

The badges.

Wheel hubs, Steering wheel boss, side repeaters (now Focus instead of ST), rear boot badge and I think the engine cover also.

Literally the only differences. It's an ST.

I'm interested in getting one, but I dont want to get a smoking hot focus that is harder to differentiate than the European model is from its donor car.

The Ford website is hopeless and I cant find any concrete information on the car (showing clearly defined Aussies specs) so I'm going to have to wait until its release before I make any effort to purchase. Yeah, I realise we all know what the specs are, but I wont believe a word of it until I see it with a Ford AU watermark on the document!
