I'm not a royalist, by any stretch, however....
a trip to my local butcher this morning for some meat for a bbq, and he's made commerative sausages for todays royal wedding. they are; pork, beef, mushroom and english mustard all in one. without starting a debate about the quality of meat supermarket vs local butcher, this is the type of personal service that keeps us going back. I think he's done it tongue in cheek! |

Mods.... please interject.... any thread involving discussion re Royal family is only going to be offal (a culinary term used to refer to the entrails and internal organs of a butchered animal) !!

I've seen green sausages made for St.Patricks day; so basically go run a party for a party's sake. Add a few coldies and it's always all good.
Seriously though; of those who are all for a Republic, who would honestly knock back a knighthood? |

However, 'Sir Shedcoupe' does have a nice ring about it, don't you think? Last edited by Ford17; 29-04-2011 at 11:49 PM. |

BTW - your link didn't work. You sure you wouldn't like being called 'Sir Shedcoupe'? Sounds very dignified; Sir! Last edited by Ford17; 30-04-2011 at 12:12 AM. |

if you are curious.. the sausages tasted good, the bbq went well, and I did not see any of the royal wedding, although it was difficult to avoid on television.
