I for one, cant wait!
Played a demo of it at Harvey Norman last weekend. Definetly going to be a blast. Only problem is they will be costing $650 and each game around $100-110. But I guess thats the same as every other game console that comes out. I've already got $400 saved and its still over a month away so no trouble here. Who else is planning on getting one at launch? Anybody else much of a console gamer on these forums? I see my Need for Speed thread was pretty popular so theres gotta be a few people here. |

Yep my bros a manager at harvey Norman so ill get one dirt cheap an games will cost ME about 70 max...suckers
Ill probably just wait till halo3 comes out tho cus thats all i really play besides V8 supercars. That damn playstation is going to be better tho from what i hear... |

I got to play Perfect Dark Zero at harvey norman that was really fun and the graphics are impressive.
I'm gonna get my 360 from Electronics Boutique and do a trade in deal with my old xbox and some games so I can buy the new system for only $499.

I wouldn't get one...
Knowing Micro$oft, they would have embedded basically every kind of anti-piracy method they possibly can, and I bet that half the processing power of the thing will be used to see if the game is real or not. I'm not saying that it's bad because you won't be able to play pirated games, but I think it'll be too heavily restricted to be a versatile system. Not worth the money IMO. Console gaming is one bandwagon MS never should have jumped on.

lookin foward for the nintendo revolution, looks impresive, u can download previous games for previous consoles via the internet for it, i like old games really, also another wired yet kewl lookin remote controle device
but really not that psp is out, thats all u need 360 s0x |

Actually the Xbox360 is the most advanced gaming system on the market right now, unless you have thousands of $$$ and can afford a super high end PC designed for hardcore gaming.
But the specs on the new Xbox are pretty phenomenal. I wont go into detail cause I'll just confuse the lot of you. :evil_laug But from what I've read, the PS3 and Xbox360's hardware while different in the way they approach design are capable of similar results. Alot the games coming out, played on a high definition TV will definetly fool people who dont play video games much into believing these games are producing real life graphical quality.  :

after reading some specs in a few magazine, the ps3 and xbox have some differenceces but the graphics will be prity much exacly the same
as for pcs, really there ownin pcs now, unless u get dual cpu, 4gbz ram, dual graphics, insane sound and 1tb of space, then ull own anything, ull own a car :P |

lol..ive always been a sony guy...I dont know why but I am very brand loyal...
although I think my gaming days are slowly coming to an end...ive spent way to much on games lately..and not backups either..speaking of which I need to revive a thread...nfs: mw

way to generalize
 : i wont be buying one when they come out, simply because i have better things to spend my money on. I might consider trading in my xbox though... i really cant justify spending that much money on a gaming console. I waited 2 - 3 years before i bought an xbox, ill probably end up doing the same with the 360, even though it looks rather impressive

only stayed with sony for gt4. it sucked, so now i can go either xbox or sony... although im not getting one till the price drops a bit so i have a fair bit of time to decide which is best.

i'll get the sony....after a fair bit of research i think the sony is the better machine but hey, its just my opinion...and they will never stop piracy me hearteeeesss arrrr arrr!

I preodered mine lastweek with the Vga cable with the launch title The elder scrolls 4 Oblivion which i have been waiting years for, awsome game
