Default "stubby" antenna

Anyone know if you can get/where you can get little "stubby" style antennas for the wireless in an LS Focus?

Just after something a little bit shorter that doesn't stick up a mile, I reckon the little ones popping up on cars today look better.

Please don't suggest a shark fin, not for the front of my car, maybe if the antenna was at the back, but definitely not putting one on the front unless you can convince me with photos that they look alright.

Also - would I lose much reception on wireless having a stubbier one, I don't listen to the wireless much normally CD or iPod, and when I do its normally AM.

I put a similar one on my mazda, no issues with signal, but then I have pretty good reception where I am.

I wouldn't mind getting one for the Mondeo. So I assume if it fits focus, mondeo will be fine. Thanks for that link Ragtop

Thanks for the link rag top.

Being 8 minutes to Christmas day, I think I'll wait a few days to put the order in so I'm not stuck waiting forever after having paid for it - would rather pay for it on a Monday and (hopefully) receive it by the Friday rather than pay for something that may not get packed and sent for a while, then forgotten about, then posted, then lost etc.

But definitely going to grab one by the look of it. Looks to be exactly the kind of thing I was after. Much appreciated.

Nice looking dummy load
even for fm give consideration to having a decent antenna glued to a window at the edge or a physically larger external stick even if electrically auto raised , there are kits and some installers do then , that short stick looks great BUT will be very deaf compared to a well made window size loop buy a dozen or more Db , you might be lucky around town but just a modest distance from the tansmitter fade is a certainty , good luck with what ever you decide
