Is there a formula to work out what the best tyre size is to be able to cross the line at a particular amount of revs ?
Reason being I am about the purchase some new MTs on 15s and currently crossing at 6000 ish would like to drop it back to 5800 if possible ,Diff is 4.11s if that helps  Thanks in advance Whoosha

There is calculators on the net somewhere, or just go 1" taller. You could also hot it up a tad, and be able to rev to 6500 !!!

calculators are ok for a manual but not if you have an auto with stall. Its best to supply your MPH, ET, RPM, diff gears, weight etc and ask around at the drags but it will come down to your stall setup if you have one.. Cheers
