Hi guys, just wondering if anyone can confirm if the 2004 / 2005 WP 1.6 Duratec petrol engine with FYJA & FYJB engine codes, are essentially the same engine?
If i wanted to source parts from Ebay, would engine parts with the FYJA prefix/engine code fit my Sept 04 FYJB prefixed engine? The parts on Ebay seem to suit the FYJA 1.6 Duratec engine mostly so i urgently need some expert info & confirmation before buying any parts. Any help & info would be greatly appreciated!! cheers, Maka

In short, yes they are the same. So are the FXJA/FXJB 1.4L codes and the FUJB/M7JA FUJA/M7JB 1.25L ones.
