to say i'm dissapointed is an understatement. the scoreline of 2-0 does not do our boys justice. basically if you had a yellow shirt on and got touched or fell over........well the penalty count will answer that. lack of finishing quality cost us dearly along with the whistle pea. hold your heads up fellas, you've nothing to be ashamed of. final 16 here we come!!

Neil and Moore were very strong,Cahill was his usual everywhere till replaced and Viduka played a strong role.
I admire the "Guss" his replacement's are always to go for it not lock up shop what Farina did day in day out.
The No1's may have won but I'm sure their body's especially their shins are worse for wear

So you're saying that almost taking someone's head off doesn't warrant a red card? I thought all those cards were a joke at first but after watching the replays, I think he got it pretty much right. Italy only have themselves to blame for such ill discipline play.

great game, aussies played great, 1st goal looked to be offside :(, 2nd goal was just luck and a quick run from brazil, ahwell what can ya do.

it was very unfair how the ref just ended the game with prolly 1minute of overtime left and ball in australias half

The ref was disgraceful. How many times did Timmy Cahill get a decision against him, despite not fouling. The more recognised teams have the ref wrapped around there little finger, AN UTTER DISGRACE! Good on Kewell for giving the ref a big spray.

Australia didnt deserve to have that 2-0 scoreline against them.

Actually the 2nd goal was sorta Australia's defensive fault as they left that entire left side open to the rebound. Should have been at least one defender in osition there, but they stood back leaving two Brazilians free on that side.

I heard just now on SBS. They were talking about how bad it was etc, and that he would get a match ban for his actions, about 20 mins later, there was an update saying, he has been cleared :d

There's a rule that allows the captain some slack in regards to the ref, but because of Vidukas lack of, it was noted and thus the reason for Kewell being cleared, or something along the lines :d
