Have you met my parents? They hardly drink and never smoke. To my Dad, a big night out is having a coffee at a local cafe and being rebellious is being up past 11pm.

My brother threw heaps of house parties while I was on holiday with my parents which resulted in our spirits being depleted and things being stolen and broken.

Were his actions because my parents "moulded" him. No. He made a conscious decision to do what he did. He was Corey's age at the time.

Sorry but till he's 18 his parents are 100% responsible for every facit of his life and upbringing, i blame his parents for this, in the eyes of the law he's a minor, albiet a dead set dropkick, but the buck rests firmly on his parents shoulders.. afterall they're the one's who taught him his values and morals.
The kid made some decissions based on evaluating the situation using the values and morals his parents instilled in him....

I don't think it's fair to place absolute responsibility on the parent's shoulders.

The kid is a little ...yes...but he knew what he was doing, even if he doesn't appreciate the consequences.

The best way to learn is to make mistakes and his continued sense of apathy shows that he couldn't give a rat's . BEcause of that, I think he deserves a clip behind the ear and a bare-bottom spanking too my Ms Nixon. That will set him straight.

Disagree. Every facet of his life. C'mon!

In spite of the best upbringing, children can still choose their own way. Granted, a better and moral upbringing most usually brings great results, either straight away, or down the track, but each person makes choices, whether clever or down right stupid.

This kids upbringing we're not sure of, but actions were stupid, based upon stupid decisions and thinking. What role his parents had in it, we'll probably never know.

BUT, to give all pre 18 year olds a cop out like "It's my parent's fault" is downright dangerous. Kids don't magically learn to take responsibility for their actions when they turn 18. It's a learning curve, one which they can either embrace or reject. We do have free will you know.

Let's hope this veeeeeery mucked up youngster learns to shape up quickly, because his life appears to be heading down a very dark and sinister track, especially if the allegations of child porn are true.

It was probably pics/vids of other teens hooking up and parties and probably nude pics been sent via mySpace... If it is teen to teen is it child porn? thats a whole other debate though

That would be my assumption too... probably just nude pics of mates on his phone or pc, the issue will be the age of the people involved not so much what was going on..

Child porn? There was no mention of that on the news segment I watched last night.
There was a mention of a possible charge of "producing porn" which sounds more like something was recorded on a phone or camcorder. I'm assuming the issue is to do with the lack of a permit or licence to make porn.

Simple answer is 'YES'.

As an example, the only porn movie Traci Lords did that she was of legal age was her very last one. ALL other films , it was discovered, were made as a minor....starting at 15 years of age. The entire industry went into panic, and there are known cases of box upon box of Traci Lords videos being dumped, crushed, and burned, as it was illegal to own, or view them.

At the same time, a lot of people seem to have the wrong impression that Pedo material is only adults with children, but that is not the case. A large volume of the crap these sick &%$*'s get off with are children with children......I think you get the idea.
