Just read this thread, hope your mate is making progress he seems like a good guy. Has anyone thought of passing around a hat to help the family out a little in the finance department. I know from personal experience how hard these times can be and any sort of support I’m sure would be well received and hopefully show this family that there is still good people out there.

There is a hell of alot of people on this forum, most I believe would be more than happy to give a little to help out someone in need. Hell how much money have we all pumped into cars, I for one would love the opportunity to help his family out in anyway.

Hey J.C, how's your mate doing? I really hope there has been some good progress, this would be a nightmare for any family.

I'm very sorry to hear about this mate.
like this is very wrong.

I'm an 18yr old male who has mates also with fast cars and yes like most youngins we do the normal hooning but we have some smarts * I hope * we venture out away from anything.

Then again we're lucky being bush kids.

Things like this defiantly annoy me and hopefully young people like me. It makes it harder for teenagers to get a decent name and insurance.
Hope you find them and bash them with a thick pole.

He has daily rehab all day til 5.30pm. Very tiring for him. He is exhausted come 7.00 at night which is odd for him as he was fit and you'd have to run sometimes to keep up with him while he walked. Long road ahead but he is home with his wife and family.
Court case coming up soon I beleive.

Well if the criminal who ran him down wasn't on drugs he is up for some serious penalty (shame we don't have death for these scumbags) and if he was on drugs he'll have to admit that or face more serious penaltys.

Makes me sick that people like these exist. I've got a 9 month old and twins on the way and if someone did something like that to them, watch out.

just read this whole thread from start to end, and am truly enraged. The fact that people are willing to try and Kill somebody who has the guts to tell them off for doing the wrong thing. That just makes me sick, I would love to give them a good kick up the *** with my size 12 steel cap boots.

I wish your mate a full and speedy recovery , and I hope these low lives get the maximum sentance.

Just read this from the start.... I am lost for words...

I hope you friend is ok JC, sounds pretty dam lucky he is alive, hope he recovers soon.
One can only hope our justice system does the right thing and sends a clear message or more of this type of thing will happen. That we will have to wait and see.

Did I read right that they swapped drivers just before the incident???

If thats the case hope they both get it equally.....

They should throw the book at these . Its people like these that give the typical 18-21yr old P platers their reputation.

Yeh and thats the biggest problem 80% of P Platers are good theres THIS 20% who ruin it and should have there rights of driving removed until they're 40.

At that time they should be then removed from jail also.

This made me cry.

I have no words or description to express what I feel about this.

All I can say is that I am so happy, granted and feel so lucky that I have a beautiful wife who loves me so much and who I love so much in return. This just re-establishes human life and what it is really worth. I showed this to my wife (Toyah), and she cried too.

Our condolences to the people who have suffered.

We pray that it never happen again, and that the people involved understand what they did and now must live with it,
