I did the photobucket thing for the "Wash Your Car for Frosty" thread and just right-click copy/pasted. Before that, couldn't paste a pic, due to file size.

I'm going with Famous insurance... Half the price of Shannon's... If you go through the policy details, almost identical... But half the price, and a fair and reasonable excess....
I use imgur.com to upload my images.

Small Thumbnail

Medium Thumbnail

Just be careful with Original lol.

After you upload your image and click on it, remember to select the size you want then it will give you the appropriate links for that size.

- NOTE: My car has already been washed many times with Bowden's Own Auto Body Gel so it's no longer at its dusty gravel road condition on the outside. The engine bay on the other hand...

Photobucket is littered with ads last time I used it and somehow old images manage to go missing.
Tinypic isn't recommended for public forums as vandals can tag your image with inappropriate keywords.

Just give yourself option to shop around for comprehensive insurance quotes in case you get slugged an increased premium next year even if you have made no claims.
It pays to read the PDS (Policy Disclosure Statement) for the current insurer you're with. It explains what happens with claims and whether they give you a choice of repairer and so forth.

I was thinking of getting my BA Turbo there the same day to take some photos. It would be good for a group photo of the sprints.. Wonder how many would turn up?

Took me 30 years to buy a Falcon, the reality that the Falcon v8 will be no more and desire to have 1 Falcon v8 with manual forced my hand.

Had my FGX XR8 for almost 1 year now, and the more I drive it and get to know it the more I love it, especially with better rubber on the rear-makes all the difference.

To think in under 6 months they will be no more.

Nice stance, rims and a custom kit! wonder if anybody will actually make some aftermarket stuff for the FG-X?

the rears (265/35/ZR19) @ 26.3 inch diameter and 9.7 inch tread width.
Compare this to the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A as commonly used on Holdens, (275/35/ZR19) with 26.5 mm Dia and an even bigger tread width of 10.2 inch.
A more c!osely matched tyre set for the sprints would have been 245/40 and 275/35. They are almost the same OD. The 245/265 combo is 15mm difference.

Damn. That FGX looks stunning. It's not that much different from stock but makes the front end, which I still haven't warmed up to now I've had mine for a month and a half, look a whole lot more menacing.

I'm sure the ride height is helping there, too. I'm thinking of dropping mine down a smidge.

Is the FGX boot lid the same as FG?

On another topic; geez, the production line looks empty.

Not many cars made per day anymore... 4 1/2 month and it's all over

That I don't know... I did however just notice that the boot lip spoiler holes are already in the boot lid... These were often done later after the car left the production line...

You suck

Yeh if you stare at the back of an FG X you can see the bumper is just higher, same shape as FG other than that.

Would have though they would be a totally different pressing because of the lights in the boot lid.
