Me thinks my Stall might fix that problem

I did chat with the owner, he was from Adelaide. Only took 2 pics of the engine bay, sorry. It runs 5 psi of boost, puts down just over 200kw at rw, 9.0:1 compression, custom pistons from states, fully balanced & blueprinted engine, runs a chip also & he's wanting to raise the rev limit to get more out of it. Not run down the quarter due to it not changing the fun factor of the car, which I agree with. Was a daily driver but now driven 3 times a week. Has bonnett bulge, got to Melb from Adelaide on single tank of fuel & DTE showing about 50km.

Very impressive engine bay. Good to see some effort put into an AU.

hahahaha, i only washed the wheels because someone had the lame excuse 'its only another XR8' and no one would pay attention to it...it was annoying the hell out of me that they were so grubby so i cleaned them....

And for the Focus, maybe next time... i was to busy being someone's gopher at wagga : hahahaha

Mick’s ute is absolutely stunning. You really need to see it up close as photos don’t do it justice.

Cheers, Danny

The AU XR6 is owned by my uncles mate. My uncle did the supercharger conversion on it whilst he owned it ... He sold it to scott and bought the Orange GT that was next to it in the show. Both excellent cars.

All I'm saying is maybe you try something different in the next display, show"n"shine as I know myself I wanted to meet a few people but I was put off by that.
Enough of my gripe but a big congrats on the display you guys had as it was nice to see some forum members cars in the flesh, saying that meeting Casper and other guys were great. :

Mick

It's an Odyssey dry cell battery, not a prob with mounting sideways. I would be more concerned with the plastic clip holding it in place, I assume he didn't buy it at the $2 shop though.
