A little while ago:

 BAII RTV - with Raptor V S/C. RTV Power FG G6ET 50th Anniversary in Sensation. While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about. “Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”. |

XC GXL, at least two of those cars appear to have Pom plates. Knowing what fuel costs in Pomgolia compared to here, how did/do you manage running such - relatively - thirsty beasties there?
And the cars being what they are, I bet they were often headturners any time they went out

Went for a drive a few months ago with a coupla mates. Granya Gap (near Albury/Wodonga) a nice, twisty, well surfaced road that goes up over a decent sized hill.
I had a ball, nothing like huge turbo torque going up that hill, firing it out of the corners. Just managed to dodge a goanna at the top, and went slow down the other side (I don't have FPV brakes, lol). The point is I don't drive my turbo often, but when I do, I really enjoy it. I can't afford a new G6ET (this purchase was hugely extravagant for me) before 2016 so I'm keeping this one until I die.

Here's one of my old 1994 KHII Laser Horizon. It was one of the best cars I ever owned and was one of the last Homebush built Lasers.
 Here is a pic of the mighty Broadmeadows built 2000 AUII Falcon Forte dedicated LPG wagon towing another Aussie made car, a Tonsley Park Magna.    The wagon has been a good work horse. I know mine aren't as fancy or legendary (like others on here are) but I just thought I'd share them.

Here's a few of mine.
My parents 2007 BFII Futura Wagon towing their van through the outback...love that..  Two AUII Futura wagons..built within 1 month of each other.   Whilst being done up for travel, it can still get up and boogie

Me driving on my uncle and aunties farm, when I was 8.  The old EAII Wagon   My cousins and aunty and uncle from the farm had some great Aussie Fords too. XR Falcon Ute, XB Falcon ute V8, NC Fairlane dark green 5.0 V8 with side boards and a 4 post bullbar, sounded awesome, and the suspension was really soft, EB S XR8 manual, red, with a bullbar. EB Fairmont 4.0. Unfortunately I don't have any photos of these. |
