I was talking to my Ford sales rep after getting a towbar fitted to one of my Rangers. I asked him about the new XR8, he said he's taken quite a few orders. I asked him if it's worthwhile switching from the GT to the new XR8, he said "the XR8 isn't a GT. Keep the GT".
I'll be looking for a run-out TS or Titanium Territory diesel for the wife when the new Terri arrives.

I actually like the front end now, it is growing on me and I’m sure once I see it in real life I will like it, the rear is fantastic.

I'm actually quite surprised how a small change like round vents can make the upgraded Territory's interior look more modern. Pity Ford didn't have enough coin to change the falcons dash to round vents. At least its something

Need more pics from different angles. So far from the FB pics posted above , doesn't look impressive. Will wait for "better" pics.....hopefully.

The rear though as I said in real life is stunning. Love those xr6 wheels, probably the best ford has ever come up with. The colour of the new ford makes a world of difference. The blue definitely brings out the best in it

Not hanging on anyones photo skills or anything and greatly appreciate all pics taken and supplied ...... but I am sure that photos taken with a good camera and so forth they will look great rather than those taken with potatoes.
Still waiting to see one in the flesh!

The back end does look nice. Front end will take some time to warm to. As it it is , front end looks kinda weird and out of proportion. Just not sweet looking.

The back end was the part that disgusted everyone and now that's changed to the front.
Definitely starting to agree though! And taking my DSLR to Sandown tomorrow hoping for another one to be there!

I agree the front end has an overly 'flatness' look to it, similar to how an EF is.

Saw a Kinetic XR8 there today! Couldn't get any pics but it looked and sounded great! Just saw it in the car park as it was driving out.

Yeah the G6E looks flash...my only real criticism on exterior is that the badges on the rear look naff and the non XR8 bonnet is very plain...just looks like a lot of flat space.

Great to finally see some decent shots of the front end - both XR and G6E. Keep them coming!
In relation to tyres, the pics of the blue XR sedan still show Dunlop Sport Maxx. I think the Michelins may be reserved for the Falcon (XT)? |

also have R-Spec suspension so that would make it even faster than a regular GT! |

From where I sit, it is a GT in all but name. If it had that badge there would be plenty on here wetting themselves over it.

The gt has that extra visual presence, when you see it you know straight away. If the gt was just a badge on the car this would've been badged as a gt and not an XR8 in my opinion.
