Definately looks to me like either the bushland around Lang Lang or the You Yangs, as I said in a previous post there is definately a high pressure oil or gas pipeline in front of the car raised out of the ground, and the warning sign is on the left. We have worked in some locations where this pipe runs through with these signs or very similar (as they can blow up very severely if punctured). As far as I know a gas pipe runs through Lang Lang, not sure about right through the Holden track though. I dont know if there is a similar pipe through You Yangs, it's more towards Geelong. I'm not confidant what it is though, pics arent overly concusive. I think it's a good thing that it isnt anyway, I'de rather orion stay secret till release. |

I honestly cant believe thats the best pic anyone has got of one.
I followed one around north shore the other night trying to get some decent pics of it, but the driver was trying pretty hard to get out of the way of my camera. Got 2 photos of it, one of the side, one of the rear, but deleted them on the weekend because i figured they were crap shots, and if i'd seen it, plenty of other people must have too. Followed it around a big block a couple of times, he had a BF fairmont ghia following and they were going pretty hard. Guy kept stalling it up at the lights like he was trying to spin the wheels. Interior was completely covered with just a section open for the drive to sit in. Looking through the clear plastic around the lights on the rear, it looked pretty damn hot! |

I don't know how anyone can guess anything from those photographs. Someone said it early on in the thread:

Yeah i honestly thought people would have seen them out and about now! Looking at the quality of the pic that was posted mine were a hell of a lot closer and better than that. I looked in the orion thread to see if there were pics yet, noticed how big it was and left it. |

I think the packet of Winfield blues on the dash is a give away that the mule test driver is Jonny "Smoke machine" Walsh from Ford Motor Company.

Well i'd better start opening my eyes and taking a camera in the car with me then, i live in lara and i go thru north shore and past the ford factory just about every day on the way to uni, would the mules be around at any stage during the day or only in the morning or evening? Might have to take a drive up to the You Yangs and see if i can have a peek...

Man, those photo's are so bad that they remind me of the 60's show "I dream of genie".
That is where you have to turn your head on an angle, squint, and you'll eventually see bush. These shots have me doing the same.

I'll go for Orion, the screen looks more Falconish than Commodore.
Hopefully it's going to get a good looking roofline compared to AU - BA - BF. Ed |

Who knows... there only a handful of people in Australia who know what it really looks like and goes.. Its just a matter of finding out who they are...
Then we can stalk them for the truth
