I acknowledge it could be quite possible but damn so many people hype it up so much. Surely there has got to be better things to do.

WHY NOT REVEAL themselves . maybe because they know the outcome . and it must be bad . because they have nothing to fear from us . they could simply vapourise us in an instant . i dont think for a minute that we see anything that they dont allow , that ( we can ) prove .and i dont think that they are conspiring with our governments . because by nature governments are humans and humans cant keep secrets . so the public would know by now .
my conclusion is if they do exist and they reveal themselves we will self enhialate , due to our own fears and lack of wisdom as a race of people . so they would only want to study our progress, thats it .

Ive read only a little on the Mayans Astrology...they had documented Planets we have only discovered with modern te technology

They also talk of the world in phases

Isn't 2012 supposeldy when we awken to higher level of concsiencness..ie telepathy.....WHich ties in with what your saying regarding the immediate realisation of other life forms...our minds are to feeble to understand

accelerated learning curve . which supposedly pinnicles in 2012. given our history how long know one knows . but the advancements in the last 100 years are almost inconceivable to before then . imagine the next 100years . or 6 years perhaps . anyhow thats the point of the mayan calander. i'm no expert.

I think the biggest problem is an assumption in regards to contact. We attach human emotions and reasoning to alien intentions. The assumption is that they think like we do, and thats a dangerous assumption to make or attach to creatures we know nothing about.

Their reasoning, their objectives and their motivations are entirely known only to themselves.

I myself have seen something very weird on a cloudless night sleeping outdoors under the stars,something I cant explain,but it WAS there whatever it was,me and a mate both saw it so my eyes werent playing tricks on me.
We were both treated to a spectacular show for about 15 minutes,still to this day we cant explain what it was or how the object moved the way it did..
Was very impressive none the less..

Or it could be because they love blue planets. As I said, you cant attach human logic and reasoning to something that you know nothing about. They are called alien for a reason. If they were just like us, we would call them space dudes.

What if UFOs were like the google spider bot. Unattended machines scanning anything and everything in the entire universe and pumping the information back home.

Imagine a race in that light as an advanced version of us - not necesarily wanting to know if life exists, but mapping everything that exists. That may explain why UFOs are often reported as making strange irregular speed and direction changes. Like a really really highly advanced version of the Mars rover - although thats like comparing a stick and a patch of dirt to a supercomputer.

Tell yas all what.A few years ago I video taped what appeared to be a 2-3 ufos on video.I will need to find this video and then buy a video capture card for you all to see and make your minds up. I sent it to the ufo hotline and they said it was a blimp.At the time I had one image of it on my computer and they did not look like blimps! Two came from across the sky like ballons.However after video taping them for a few minutes a bigger one was waiting across the horizon on the other side..say 20 kays away.The two ballony ones were headed directly to the bigger one.The video camera battery went dead and when I went in to get another they all dissapeared.

if there is aliens...why would they want to come here?

how can we be sure aliens didnt just ship us over here and now they observe us? it might explain the pyramids and how well they were built.

those jets that were chasing this thing could have been a military excercise and we are un aware of the technology we have

to hope that aliens come could be good or bad...mabey they could help us out and show how well we can become or they could conquer us and keep us as slaves or they are afraid what we would do with thier knowledge

maybe they havent visited because they cant breath in out atmosphere so it seems pointless to colonise here

i bet these creatures are so advace they have lost all their physical abilities and i bet we would smash them in a fight...they are probably little with really big heads...if they even have heads

i wouldnt mind contact with them but i cant see us living together in harmony...it only takes some suicide bomber to start a war with them lol

I have mates (who are also members of this forum) who have witnessed a close fly-by of some sort of craft with lights beaming underneath, but I'll let them elaborate if they see the thread

There are however a lot of advances in technology that we dont know about, take into consideration the SR-71 Blackbird was developed by the US Airforce in the early 60's, then replaced by something else when nothing was wrong with it. It was a style 30 years ahead of its time. Then the Stealth bombers were developed in the early 80's, which still are current. Makes you wonder what they have been up to the last 5 years or so, some say they have pulse engines capable of mach 6 and other sort of stuff but who really knows till it's declassified or proven right

4 years ago i was at friends BBQ when this strange silent ufo went slowly past us with this huge flame sort of thing out of one end ,my mates wife who was a sceptic before this night was crying as mate video taped it going slowly past ,we rant channel 7 and they interviewed mate and his mr's took tape and never gave it back and made mate look like a crackpot, end of our ever talking much about it afterwards as people just find a way to ridicule you if you come forward, turns out there was dozens of phone calls to Police and news channels same time we saw it.i was not sure of how true the stories over the years were even though i have always believed there is thousands of other planets out there with life of one sort or another. but now im a firm believer in UFO's.some sightings might be bogus but there has been a few over the years where government explanations dont wash one little bit.

Just adding to my previous post - I'm reading alot of guys from townsville seeing wierd and unexplained things in the sky - but you don't have to be there to whitness those kinds of things!! I remember many a time sitting out on the boat fishing with the old man in Moreton Bay (Brisbane) and seeing plenty of activity up in the night sky - we'd sit and watch the sattelites while having a good ol chat and every so often (and more often than not) we'd see what we thought was a sattelite cruising merrilly across the night sky, stop, move in another direction 2 or 3 times then go wizzing off in an opposite direction... Spooked the hell out of us the first few times, then we'd try and count how many times it would happen while we were there... 6 was our record.
To all the skeptics, you're quite entitled to your opinions and beliefs, but I think you may be a little narrow minded thinking that we are or could be the only intelligent or superior life form in our, or any of the galaxies... How many hundreds of billions of years old is the universe?? And our plantet has been here for how long in comparisson?? Not to mention the Human race is but an infant in comparrison to anything else...
I actually saw a documentary where they were discussing the theory of astral plains and where this could answer alot of questions of travelling at speed of light, ghost sightings, and yes UFO sightings... I can't remember what the theory was called - but some braniac mathematician science guys were all discussing it and it was pretty interesting stuff... All 4th, 5th and further dimension sort of stuff... Did anyone else see this, and if so what was the program called or at least the theory called, cause i wouldn't mind looking it up...

I remember 2 things quite clearly, 1 when the train was invented they said it would go so fast it would take your breath away and you would die. 2 they said man would not walk on the moon. Do i hear that we can not travel at the speed of light just because we have not figured it out yet does not mean it can not be done. I was out in the middle of nowhere North of Adelaide, lying on a blanket and watching the stars one night, there were a couple of us and we were watching satellites and such cross the sky. We saw two coming in from different directions and thought "Hey cool they will intersect" at which point at about 10 degrees seperation from each other (Their course was such that they would have intersected directly above our position), one performed a 90 degree turn at high speed, shot towards the horizon and followed it before disappearing, while the other came to a dead halt and sat in the sky for some 20 minutes before fading away. We all witnessed it.

Heres what I deduced from the encounter. Aircraft at high altitude and at high speed do not perform instant 90 degree high speed turns without turning their pilots into Jelly or turning said aircraft into a loose assortment of wreckage. Hence it wasnt a conventional aircraft.

Satellites sure as hell dont change direction in such a manner, and they sure as hell dont just decide to stop and wait in a geosync orbit. Hence it wasnt a satellite.

Sure as hell unidentified. Sure as hell Flying. Sure as hell an object.

i have never seen a UFO.
however have seen other strange things like animals with wierd ****, out where my parents live there has been a few reported "UFO" sighting mostly by he drunks from, teh pu at wee hrs of teh morning but there was one arfternoon the chool bus driver claims to have crossed one on the backroad into town t was a flying saucer type ufo so she claimed and had a neon glow and made a humming sound. she was actually very shaken by it noneless i want to c proof of this... maybe the US should let us into area 51 or let us in on knowledge if any they have
