Lamborghini Gallardo.

I actually quite like the VZ Holden Monaro too, but don't tell anyone.

I have to put my vote in for the Aston Martin, hands down winner of pure automotive sex.

Aston Martin DBS........... The end.

I wouldnt buy one based on performance, but God knows you would never get sick of looking at it.

this. first impressions were that it was horrible and the proportions all wrong, and lines just iffy. But the more I look the more i fall in love with it. Most beautiful car ive ever seen.

^That is an incredible Ferrari, just from how unique it is I'd say it will prove to be pretty timeless. Beautiful angles and proportions.

I'd probably also have to go with an Aston, just so tasteful and classy. All the usual suspects get consideration though; Jags, Mercs, Lambos etc... So many cars out there that scream perfection from every bumper and pillar.

Love the pics Elks put up, especially the second one; once again absolutely flawless from every angle. Also a big fan of the DeLorean posted above, but in terms of looks (in my opinion) it just can't hold a candle to the aforementioned works of art.

It goes without saying what I think the sexiest car would be. The original MK 1 GT 40. This is a timeless design that still looks modern today. This car was so far ahead of its time it just isn’t funny.

I also think that the GTX-1 comes a close second.

As for Cadzilla, I still remember when it was in Street Machine magazine over twenty years ago. This was a mega dollar build and from memory, one of the blokes from ZZ Top had it built. An awesome machine.

Everything was optional on them and cost mega bucks. Gennadi Dedign Group stopped making them nearly three years ago and from memory made just on 100 of them.

A modern day classic.

See i use to be like that as well, Aston all the way, but the designs, whilst still attractive-no question, have become boring. Hence my fascination with the 458. The Audi R8 is a close contender, then things like the Reventon, F40, F50, Countach some old Bugatti's all rattle my cage!!

Timeless, ageless, sexiest design ever. There is not one flaw - perfectly balanced aesthetically from any and every angle. Simply indisputable.

Remember that compared to most of the modern exotics the E-Type was a mass produced volume seller and was quite affordable.

Yeah I pretty much agree with you completely, I think an Aston is the safe or logical choice. It isn't the car you'd choose with your heart.

Hmm I'll actually have to think a bit more, the R8 is a great choice. I actually really love the Gallardo lp570-4, the back is just superb:

And the front is just as incredible:
