another recent comedy that has been left off the list is Green Wing. One of the funniest shows I have ever seen. It is on UKTV for those with Foxtel.

I've only heard of Ali G which is why I voted him.

If I've heard or knew of any others, I might have chose something different.

...And where's the Two Ronnies? They are legends.

Also Ronnie Barkers 'Open All Hours' was a real laugh.

Poll should've had Benny Hill, not Benny Hinn.

I didn't vote as my best favourites weren't there.

The funny ones in my opinion are:

Benny Hill....dirty and very funny.
Fawlty Towers....always a drama..."where are you Basil?"
Little Britain.....love when she vomits at the fate after tasting the scones...

and wasn't Gimme Gimme Gimme British?....cause Linda really cracks me up....oh he's gorgeous Tom, he's gorgeous....you have no hope Linda..give up! :

All good comedies.

I had a look through the ABC shop recently ... brought back soooo many memories looking through the DVDs.

Actually a decent shop ... was a Gold mine for Chrissy gift ideas

Was eyeing off the Red Dwarf 2 DVD pack Series 1-9 ... mmmmmm
Another favourite of mine is Little Britain.

May have to say Father Ted, but they are all such good shows. Much better than that americansky stuff.

Don't forget, for all you Spaced fans out there, they've got another movie coming out. http://www.jointhefuzz.com/

The trailers for that movie are awesome and from their last couple of offerings it's shaping up to being a shed hot movie.

Sorry about the mulititude of offerings. The sad part is that there is so much more I couldn't include.

I'm going with "Love Thy Neighbour" as my favorite.
I used to love Eddie & Bill taking the p!ss out of each other in reference to "race" & "colour". Something that isn't tolerated in this day and age. Didn't they always end up at the pub, with that other bloke (can't remember his name) who wore a beret and said "I'll have half"

I had heard (don't know that it's true) that the British government commissioned Love Thy Neighbour to ease the racial tensions of the day. By making Eddie look stupid for his bigotted views and to show that they can be friends.

My all time favourite comedy is Red Dwarf, not listed in the poll. Love every episode and have them all on DVD - which is saying something as I never buy DVDs. Well I didn't buy these either, just acquired them after my brother and long time Red Dwarf fan was finished with his.

Who voted for Garth Marenghi's Darkplace? That is one stupidly funny show! It has the guy from I.T. Crowd in it, the high pitched one.
