I do about 110hr per week, for 5 weeks, then 5 weeks off, it's a great life, I dont mind the hours as I do it for half the year the other half is jet setting around the world.

I'm at work 60 to 70 hours a week, on call 24 hours Mon to Fri.

12 hours Mon to Fri (5am to 5pm), 8 hours every second Sat.

2 jobs, about 50-55 hours a week. 1 job as a storeman, the other as a dockhand for a road transport company. Work 9am-2pm, then 3-8pm or up to 10pm - later sometimes when the work is there and I don't have to work the next day

For the average worker, it's the only way to get ahead. You can't afford to buy a house if you're taking home $500 a week and doing it all yourself. If you're with someone making the same money or more you can do it

chef, work 12 hrs a day, 6 day week. so around 72 - 80 hrs.
but i work in hong kong so thats says it all...
short term loss, long term gain i guess.

You guys are all crazy. I'd be lucky to do 38, normally 30-35hrs/week. I do deliveries for a building supplies company. Best part about it is that I just contract my time to them and I can choose my hours and still bring home good money.

17hrs(inc breaks)is the maximum that we can do over hear then we have to have a min 7hr break. the time away from work is what we watch the most - 27 hr rest/away from work in every 72hr/3 day period.

Ok, cool. The company I work for has an internal rule in addition to the state legislation. We cannot work beyond 14 hrs, breaks inclusive. Although it seems flexible at their leisure.. LOL

sounds like the company i work for ova here in perth
our head in mt gambier works with the mentality that thats the rules unless we need it anouther way

thought it was only 17 hrs in perth if you didnt have to travel to n from work e.g. 2 up or sleeping in the truck bunk or motel room , other wise it was less to take in traveling

a lot of the driving I do is country, through the s/west and the great southern regions - from perth.

the guy's I drive for are all Q/A and also have main roads accreditation with our books gone through quite regulary, so I say we must have to be doing something right, otherwise there are big fines for failing to follow the fatigue management guidelines, and knowing my boss he wouldn't let that happen, even if it did we would definetly hear about very quickly, also with a written warning to suit.

At sea on a submarine I do my 2x6 hours shifts a day and about 2 hours reconstruction work or training. So it adds up to about 90+ hous a week.
Alongside it is about 50+ hours a week.
