Tattslotto..Has ANYONE here ever won?

Scratchies are a dead set rip off.

You have no way of telling if the prize(s) have been won, or that $5 you just spent buying one only has minor prizes left in circulation.

They SHOULD tell you when you buy it - if the major prize(s) have been won.

Least with lotto you theoretically have a chance to win the big prize. Most scratchies the big ones have gone and people are still forking out $$$ and think they are in the running.

[edit] - oh yeh - my grandparents won first division once in gold lotto. It was a massive jackpot - but like 13 people won it and shared. Still a very nice win!

How do you figure that? All odds at the casino are geared against the gambler even if it is only slight (roulette, betting on 1/2, red or black, odds or evens, zero doesn't count in any of those).

Over about 2 years a group of workmates and I had a group going.

Won about $800 all up. Then the lady looking after it went on holidays, and left the bag in my locked desk drawer at work, and some bastard broke open my drawer and stole the whole lot.

And Woolies security don't give a rats! We have a thief in the store, and their reply was that as it wasn't the store's money, they won't waste their time looking into it.

I on the other hand wasted 2 days watching the security camera footage, only to find out that the video that we needed, was also missing...

My ex's uncle and aunt won 1st div twice in two years... They were well-to-do as it was and really didn't need the money. They now spend their retirement travelling the the world on their 42' Bertram(sp?)...

We don't have instore security. We have "Loss Prevention" they sit in their offices at Norwest and twiddle their thumbs all day.

You call them in when you catch shoplifters, or you have evidence that there is staff dishonesty.
