I work in a bar and we had a guy come in to talk to us about a few drinks and one of them was absinthe... The Green Fairy is one of the more well known, it has 2 types only difference is there is some red on the label. The one without the red is 60% the one with is 70%... They both have traces of wormwood but it is so minute that it will never really affect you.
One of the ppl that I work with is from the the Czech Republic and he brought back a bottle of the real stuff, we had a few drinks of that, with the absinthe spoon the sugar, etc etc. It was a pretty crazy night, good stuff but not stuff that you would want to do alot. well, seems to be different effects each time i have some
downed the rest of the bottle (ie, half of 500mls, not quite sure what that is) in about 30-40 minutes, and an hour and a half later, dont really feel much..... hope it kicks in soon :( |
