I notice a LOT of people have commented about the E49, yet not many about the REAL go getter of the E49's the A84 Bathurst spec model.
For those that are not aware, they were the bigtank models, triple webbers, quick ratio steering etc etc (only 20 odd made - I know the owner of one of these quite well, & MAN they go well)

Gimmie the Gulf Stream Aqua GT40 anyday... chassis number 1075... the only car to win Le Mans twice!

and for cruising, a sweet 57' T-Bird Roadster... (ditch the Y-block for a BOSS 260)

maybe then i'll be happy...

Silver Fox XW GT-HO PhaseI - Lovely car, and has a 351W, how could I resist?

Starlight Blue XW GT-HO PhaseII - More lovely car...

Raw Orange XY GT-HO PhaseIII - The ultimate Aussie muscle car, in the coolest colour combo it had IMO

Onyx Black XA GT RPO 83 Coupe - Yeah! lol

That's about it for me... though a XR GT would find place in my garage too... the car that started it all

Electric Blue phase 3, i went in one as a 14yo doing 240kph down a country road, that leaves a serious impression on a young boy.
Second choice is XA GT hardtop (which i have), classic shape, Bathurst winner and the Mad Max factor make it a favourite.

Cant say no to a Phase 4 or even a Phase 3. The Vk group a (bluey) would be nice i think, as would the Walki but theres to many dumasses driving replicas of them today, so ill stick with a Phase 4

I have sat in that phase llll it was at Oran Pk yesterday doing a DVD shoot with some other wild cars. An AC Cobra, Lookalike Moffit XC coupe, some wild Commodores with 8 throttle body induction 6.2 litre and a turbo charged EB...
The colour of that ph lV is red - orange..Very low kmlres..
I like the early Falcon GT's..A.C Cobra, Saleen Mustangs..GT40's[any of them] A factory Rally Escort with BDA engine to the latest 4wd WRC would be nice...

Most Desirable Australia Muscle Car and Why?

I don't see many reasons why, do people just like the look of these cars or is there another reason ?
I don't beleive Mustangs fit in the Aussie muscle car car catergory.
