not a fan of waiting 12 months to get one.
FFS they make 3000 a week at the plant most likely. So why do I have to wait 12 months for a mustang. |

SSVPom that looks very similar, I remember the GT badge, the red rear diffuser, and maybe I remembered the LHD sticker too.... I'd say it was, but it looked much better in the afternoon sun (or little there was of it), almost glowing... I think he put the brake lights on for me cos I was dribbling.... splash...

We spoke to the engineer who was staying at the Grand Hyatt where we snapped it, and he showed us around the car, let a mate sit inside, and then gave it some beans when taking off. Nice bloke.
There's an LED Mustang logo that is projected onto the floor when the car is unlocked - that looked trick. This is also where I snapped the China destined Taurus last month, so it's safe to say FoA have a deal with the hotel.

The other thing people need to remember is that this car is brand new model here, if you can't get one within a few months once it's been here a couple of years I'll be suprised.

I care because Ford must get their act together and get their cars here in reasonable time after ordering. More than a month isn't acceptable today. Why wait when you can get an opposition vehicle within a month????? Eg : Territory up to 8 weeks,, MUX in a week.AFF isn't just about praising Ford, it should be discussing Ford warts and all...

For years and years we have mondeo, focus, and ranger "supply issues". Ford may err on the side of caution but its not hard to match production with demand unless yet again Australia is getting the dreggs. Our market deserves better treatment than that or Ford doesnt care so much about leading the sales any more (which given the cheapness of some cars these days isnt totally crazy). Still, new car, new excitement, people actually wanting to walk into Dealership to be told these is a wait on your mass produced Ford?..hmm

I really hope it goes well .. but I fear Australian's have a fickle relationship with coupes. Get all excited with the IDEA of them, they sell OK for a couple of years then die off as the early adopters move onto the next big thing.

The stangs they are showing are not the same spec as we will be getting. I was at a Brisbane dealership for the Brisbane launch and we were all taken in by the wheels that car was wearing but when questioned the sales manager said Aus weren't getting them. Being a dealer myself I had a chat with him after and we wont even be able to order parts from the U.S cars.

The Aus spec misses out on the following
- Spoiler - Bonnet Vents - Blind Spot Assist - Remote start - Red Tail lights - we get clear ones.

Gotta admit, I'm kinda over the whole supply issue excuse. I realise Mustang isn't on sale yet, but it's been the same for years.
