Pretty much the same as SX/SY Territory got facelifted to SZ Territory ... nose and tail change ... some interior changes ... although the inclusion of the TDi same the main big step there.

Looking forward to more of the reviews that follow.

The back looks a lot narrower in real life, which makes it look like a much smaller car...doesn't work as far as I'm concerned. But maybe holden are trying to make it look less "big sedan"

wow...hsv really doesn't do stripes very well...they look horid. They just don't belong on hsvs in my opinion. They don't have the heritage throwbacks like the GTs do for stripes.

Waiting keenly for some comparos

Calais and Calais V no longer get FE1.5 suspension, they get the standard touring suspension that the Evoke has - not necessarily a bad thing if you are after comfort.

Evoke has optional Country suspension, 25mm higher ride height and sump guard.

The best part of the stripes is the square pattern at the rear end of the side stripe...copied from the XR50.

If people are wondering why the Redline has black wheels in some pics but not in others, its because the wheels are either silver or black depending on what exterior colour you order.

There will also be a black-out or red-out kit to replace some of the exterior chrome and other details (e.g spoiler, mirrors) and you can choose a lip or wing spoiler on SV6 and SSV and Redline. Also an optional stripe kit too.

That SS Redline in white looks alright.
As a wagon that'd be a good thing.

So the Calais is now around the same price as the XT was in 2008, that's damn good buying!

All that kind of stuff (rolling resistance, aerodynamic resistance, etc) gets programmed into how the rolling road behaves on test. It's very comprehensive.

So Holden taking design cues from mazda et al is what ford should have done if they wanted to sell more cars. the commodore looks more 'trendy' than the latest crop of falcons not stylish...'trendy' and have done so for a decade or more, perhaps why they sell better.
Attractive enough sedan.

I was surprised to see that all models except the Evoke get leather seats.

But then I realized that SV6 and SS get "Sportec" seats, which is Holden lingo for vinyl.

Sneaky.

After looking at the VF SV6 interior photos and those new seats, it certainly makes the XR6 look bland.
