Favourite would be GT-40 and closely followed by the new Ford GT, but I'll never afford to own one.
Of what I can afford it has to meet this criteria: Medium sized. Turbo 4cyl or NA 6/8 cyl. 2 doors. Manual transmission. Preferably rear wheel drive. That leaves me with a short list of not many. Cougar V6, 70's/80's Fox body Mustangs, Taunus (South American 2 door version of Cortina), Capri and Sierra.

Performance isn't a big thing with me, I prefer style
I love A models, not so fond of 32's (every one has a 32) I like 34's then nothing till the 46, I like cusso's and mainlines, I like Polly stuf like anglias. The XK XL & XM I love, I don't mind the XP, I prefer the XR - XW over the XY (same reason as I'm not a fan of 32's) I love ZA & ZC fairlane's. I also like XB / C falcon sedan's ute's and coupes as well as landau's and ZH fairlanes, after that sorry it all falls pretty flat

It has to be the original GT40... the Ferrari eating monster.
Ford Australia have never really made a proper performance car. They're pretty good at making budget family sedans and super taxis though. There's something about the MKIII cortina that I just can't help but love for some reason too... It's almost cute.

im going with XB four door GT (always preferred the 4 door over the 2 doors for some reason) 65-68 fastbacks..im not fussy, any one will do and, do lincolns count? if they do and we hadnt just signed to build a house we'd buy this thing in a flash bargain price with the $ the way it is http://volocars.com/1967-lincoln-con...les-c-2911.htm

i have always considered lincoln to be ford, wheras i have considered mazda, jaguar, volvo etc to have been owned by ford edit: it isn't my thread, so my opinions mean nothing really. however, if it was up to me, i would allow ford, ford based deriatives (ac cobra's etc), lincoln and no other company Last edited by gtxb67; 04-01-2012 at 01:47 PM. |
