wow, i would never ever go in the water with my board or go and "have a sticky beak".
they say if you can see it's too late to run.
Reports say the wave out in the ocean heading for Australia was louder than a jet plane.
Just because its modern australia doesnt mean a wave can hit our shores with deathly destruction.

Well i went 4WD'ing on bribie yesterday
was awesome, chiefly because everyone else thought they we're gonna die so didn't go out

we did and it was great. The only waves i saw out of the ordinary were sand rooster tails in circle formation
