some people have to learn the hard way, australia day i did a good deed and took my 92 year old granny for a drive with my mum to morninton peninsula ,mt martha etc area`s, i was comeing down quite a steep hill with very tight bends extra gently as you`d expect , next thing i know i`m faceing a yound d--- h--- on my side of the double white lines overtakeing a another car( a white vs commy), had i not had the oldies in the car i almost certainly would have been going faster, the dipstick would`nt have had time to brake and pull in behind the other car, and who knows how it would have ended, the angry thought`s going through my head were very nasty indeed.

Not much point in blaming someone cerebrally challenged for doing something as ridiculous as driving at 200km/h.

Why do car makers make cars that travel above their safety rating?

Tried to get a gun/ammo/shooter's licence lately?

A fast car is like a gun and bullet, the government could easily mandate technological overrides to stop cars from tarvelling at 200km/h in Australia.

I can knock it up with a $10 Dick Smith electronics kit.

As a society we really are not interested in solving the problem

car makers certainly are not, their ads portray the wrong message to the gullible.

When the driver is actually trying to drive at legal speed...
This guy [he's not a driver] is a moron and just doesn't get it !!!

The punishments for these idiots aren't harsh enough. He's obviously made the decision to drive that at that speed.

Does his car get crushed? Does he get a huge fine? Does he go to jail? I don't know exactly, but the reality is when an innocent person dies because of someone elses stupidity, all of the above aren't anywhere as near as bad.
