Good bye car for ever.

Least my mate is one piece though!!!
I remember seeing on the news a while back, a bloke in Sydney had his M5 stolen 2 or 3 times until he decided to sell it.

1. I'm 6Ft3 and 105kg so the guy better be armed or bigger than me.
2. Got a 80,000 volt Tazer that put's you on the ground fairly fast LOL.
3. Just floor it.
4. At home, A length of steel tube or the 12 gauge might make them reconsider.
5. If in the unlikely chance I have a gun pointed at me> They can have the car it's
insured for more than it's worth.

Did get jacked once at lights in western Sydney years ago in an old Commodore streeter I built. Guy put a knife through the window and I got out quick smart. Had QuickTrak and remote immobilisation and I had it back in less than 18 hours (after cops finished with it). Turns out they were just kids, but being unarmed and outnumbered an early Commodore, even with $$$ spent on it, was not worth getting a slit throat for.

Anti hijack on the Mini is turned on. First time it reaches 8km/h after start up the doors lock until you turn car off. I like this better than some other anti-hijack systems which lock the door as soon as the ignition is on - makes it a pain when driving out the garage then getting out to shut the door (or gate etc). With roof down and windows up can't grab anything (including driver), but with windows down you are pretty exposed.

Be a bit unlucky to get jacked in the Forester or Fairlane, but I usually bump the central locking shut in both. Bad experiences you know.

Yes Australia aint South Central, but with cars getting harder to steal without the keys, violent acquisition of the keys is the unfortunate downside. Sydney has had a bit of a jacking spree lately too.

I would often get asked by passengers "What would you do if I pulled a knife/gun on you?" when I was driving nights in the taxi

I would say "See that power pole on the Left up there?"

After a while the penny would drop and they would say "I was only joking!"

Luckily never had to actually do it
