nah i wouldn't bat an eye lid over those quick release stands. There all made to comply with necessary standards, so should be of no real concern.

I've used those types for a long time and never had an issue...

Seeing as the last post was almost 2 years ago he's probably sold the car by now!!

NOTHING wrong with quick release stands..
Btw there's more weight on front than rear with stands on rails behind engine..
I doesn't hurt to have something under car just in case.. Either wheel or jack etc...

I'm wondering if anyone needing to ask where to put a trolley jack will have a working understanding of IRS's, wishbones, crossmembers, sills, chassis rails, control arms, and possibly diff housings ?? Just in case any confusion exists, an initially annoying American mechanic with over 40 years experience has made a bunch of very informative 'youtube' presentations about most things we're likely to inflict upon our cars.
