my old girl went to maryburrow(i dunno how to spell it).it was as rough as but it still went hard enough!!
i'm in an 05 triton dual cab now with 2.8 tuuuurbo deisel.it goes ok ,but i miss the falc already, this thing can't take a round about anything under 1500 rpm without rattling its guts out,the old girl used to take them at 900rpm in 4th and still pull away.at least it dosent scrape its guts out on everything tho.
the au is a very underated car ,that goes hard with the right mods.

Whoosha is still a loyal AU man, as well as AU1XLS and myself (redxr8bloke).
Between the 3 families there are 15 AU's with 9 of them being T series.
Obsession much?

I still remember chatting to you about the Ghia that day Andy!

Speaking of meet-ups ... I remember going to the AU Meet in Melbourne in 05 (I think it was) ... headed down with Bucknaked and Adam for that weekend.

God is was freezing.

Got to meet GK and Casper ... and a few others as well.

I'm still around

My garage has 2 * 290 GT's in pride of place but I still own the mocked up silver beast, another S3 XR8 and the parts whore white XR6 with the custom interior.....

Good times.... back although only a few years ago where it was a 6 potter vs the Windsor......

I have a full garage but with speed cameras, a wife and bub and a complete lack of driving pleasure vs commuting; I beat around in a busted a$$ 4 Runner that is named the DRIFTER... <---- 60 km/h and correcting the wheel to stay in your lane is about as much entertainment I can have on the roads these days

The AU meet at the lake at Pt Melb was the biggest and still the best all them years ago, with the AU back at its peak then,it was a special sight to see nearly 60 odd AUs line up with Blueprint Micks ute and the Adam in his tricked up AWC banger greeting us at tthe entrance Good times for sure.
Gees Tibbo you make me feel old , thats the problem with being a petrol head you get wiser but never loose the urge
