lowering a falcon is seriously the best mod of all the visual upgrades based on the price to effect ratio.

Looks awesome webby, stock height looks ugly. Dont forget the front springs will sag a bit so it will go lower, but only by a few millimetres.

Did you take any before and after measurement from the ground to the guard lip?

I remember the day when I lowered my car, I was stoked. The springs have saged and its about 645mm front and 640mm rear, but when I fill it up to goes lower to 635mm which I love for the dumped look lol.

Cheers

Mine's lowered to XR Height & the Gas Tank scrapes on the ground alot.. What sort of tank do you have & where is it? Mines an 80 litre mounted where the spare wheel normally goes..

I had a cat back exhaust fitted & he did a real neat job, tucked up nice & high.. Tell them you want a neat job because you've been given a defect for it

Haha thanks guys. I just want a nice cruiser for when im 18 at the end of the year. For tint i want to get the rear windows totally blacked out and the rest dark as legally possible. Its only scraped on 1 or 2 things so far. I measured the front and rear a minute ago. From the ground to guard its 655mm at back and 635mm at front. Next time i go to trade school will be a test over there speed humps.

Metalhead_mike didnt worry me. He has got no idea lol

Wagons can be totally handy. Load 'em up with a surfboard. Go for a camp and crash out in the back. Take your dogs for a ride. This has nothing to do with age or lifestyle. It's all about what suits an individual. Many are ex salesperson's cars and were well kept. Some have just been abused but that's the same with any car.

I wouldn't lower for look. I lower for handling.

Wow, that looks tip top there mate, good job. I'm not that much of a fan of lowering (I'd go no lower than lows lol) but I'll admit it, that looks sweet.

oh c'mon, who wouldn't want a wagon when it can look as good as....

http://s148.photobucket.com/albums/s...=DSCF10352.jpg

*cough*

Anyway, I replaced my shocks with HD ones (not that you can see them in the pic coz there is a van there) so the rear of my car is WAAAAAY high now....

But i love it anyway - and isn't that what modding your car is about? Modding it to how YOU like it?

I do have clear indicators now though lol.....

As for "wasting money" on a falcon, why waste time and space on a forum if youve got nothing constructive to say?

White walls???? Now you are a man with taste PHaT'eL. I quite like that idea a lot. Wen it comes to falcons there is no such thing as wasting money. Its all money well spent

It's better be. Here's my wagon with some money spent on it. It's an AU, but not too much different to an e series, and IMO, shows how good a wagon can look with the right wheels, stance etc. Mine is used to cart 3 kids around, and they love it.

Obviously, the Pod is only taken on holidays etc because the dickie seat in the back takes up a lot of the luggage space.

Around town, it looks more like this:

Heres a quick chop I did when I was looking at getting a wagon, I reckon it looks mint, and would love to do it one day.

Looks quite nice JC. The colour and the rims matched with the xr front looks great.
LOVE the shaved tailgate!!! You should do a chop of it with the numberplate mounted on a angle frenched into the tailgate like minitruck style. Ive alway wondered what it would look like.

God no! Numberplates should never be mounted on an angle. It just looks stupid.

If you are going to use nightshades, just do one, maximum 2 coats, or you run the very real risk of getting defected. Then it will cost you 2 new tailights, plus the inspection fee, plus any fine. Not worth it just because the tail lights don't look good - they're not supposed to. They are there to warn others when you are braking, and at night, they are position markers so people can see your car.
