We were drinking Black Russians in Adelaide this year so I guess you had to be there.

I think we go the white russians this next year. Like I said, I ain't never seen a black russian, a tanned one yes, black (nucliar reactor jokes aside) Niet.

I do know of a wicked mixed drink though, really hard to make..... It cosists of Coke and.......Jack Daniels. It's called...wait for it......JACK 'N' COKE. Suffisticated I know but hey, I drive a ute!!!

I must say as much as I love cars I love more the social side of the club. You can only polish a car so much. Nothing wrong with sitting back and having a quiet drink and a few laughs.

I love the social side too, but my car is my life and I could never give it too much attention! And if we get a crack at winning a trophy we are gonna make sure we are ready! We are gonna give it all we got!

I suppose there are different types of people in the club. Some are all about winning and others are about having a good time. I am of the later variety. I do my best to get car looking nice for club display, but that is it.

Dude, You clean it before you go. Then you get there and clean it again, then you gotta drive about an hour to the location which means... you guessed it, you clean it AGAIN!!! Plenty of time to CLEAN the car believe me!!

My accomodation is now booked so im a definate. my next step in prepriation is getting a 2-way radio

here is a quick plan for my return trip for those who might be interested

I'll be crossing the ferry to Sorento and then North back home. I'm not making any plans for accomodation on the way back as I'm not sure how far I will travel in 1 day. I'm expecting to be making alot of stops along the way. I'm expecting it to take 2-3 days.

i think there will be the same situation as last year where there will be a group send off. have to confirm it but i can't see any reason why not, bring your entry form to the club meeting or christmas party, pay the club the correct amount for your entry and i will send them all off with a cheque
