America had a choice, Have a president that behaves similar to a tyrant by standing up to the hidden tyrants, (and chynah), or elect a patsy who will let tyrants run unopposed.

sorry to disagree, the school of Frankfurt (uni) constantly holds people back,
if they don't do, for no extra credits.. gender studies, cultural Marxism, feminist theory.. ect ect

What rock have you been hiding under...
Universities have been pumping out brain washed leftist social engineers for years while silencing anyone with a differing or opposing POV.
Give it another decade for the full effects of this to be noticed.
The pale stale male who are apparently the root cause for everything wrong within society will not hold positions of power for too much longer. Within corporations and government, affirmative action policies and legislation are being introduced to ensure this. This shift is driven by the ones who are a product from two decades of leftist indoctrination from year 1 all the way the way through uni. As these pale stale males (and females) drop out of the corporate world and public sector these progressives will have full reign. Be careful what you wish for.

Google ‘March through the institutions’

I do find it laughable those who suffer from TDS are eerily silent, some even hinting they agree with recent actions from the CCP. Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot China - USA.
The gutless media have created a sideshow by laying it on Trump everyday for the past 5 years yet looked the other way as our traitorous politicians let China grab us by the balls and hold a knife to the throat of our primary sectors.

As mentioned above, the thread is titled 'Ambitious China'.

It is not about Trump, the USA or Universities, any further posts along these lines will be deleted.

No rock here, just someone who has moved about, lived in different areas, has a family background only the UN would surpass for diversity, is uni educated (not that I ever make a point of it, who cares), who has worked both blue and white collar jobs and realizes that there is more than one side to the story.

Many seem to have an axe to grind or chip on their shoulder that the world is leaving them and their prehistoric views behind, cant accept change, they have most likely had to change jobs because evil China and other macro economic factors have led to their incompetent and short sight management not adjusting their business to suit the market.

Its everyone else's fault but their own and they expected their life style to remain until they find the grave.

It does appear there is real fear of change in some posts.

Change or reassessment is one of the few constants in life.

Our interactions with China are changing, if we are petrified by fear we risk missing opportunities.

And this apathetic approach is what is allowing china to fulfill it's China 2050 plan for world domination. They don't even try to hide it. It's all there in the plan.

China just exploiting people too blind or ignorant to see their real intentions.

And this scares you?

China will need a whole lot of mined resources for world domination.

Australia is going to be rolling in dough!

It does if you want freedom, and a government who is working for the best interests of it's sovereignty, and it's citizens. China want to influence governments to serve them, and their interests.

Would you be ok with Australia being sub servant to chinese masters who own us?

Just look at the way they treat anyone who doesn't toe the line in China. Do you want that happening here? Cause I sure don't.

Every Government does that, doesn't mean you need to accept it, but you have to work with it because typically the opposite will only cause you grief.

Nothing wrong with standing up to it but try not to cut your nose off.

But the chinese only want it their way. You can't work with someone who only wants to know you for what they can screw out of you.

Rock n hard place i reckon, over here in rural NZ Chinese owned dairy outfits are a good thing for many small towns, they pay very well compared to whats typically on offer in said small towns, outfit i work for recently bought another out over on the West coast that were headed for closure job losses etc etc.Was surprised to learn the other day that largest overseas ownership of land here was American not Chinese as i would guess. To busy paying the mortgage to be worried about Chinese domination, will just take there money every fortnight and be glad of it.

How do you know that?

If it was 100% their way then obviously thats not a good deal, I find it hard to believe any deal AUS has done is 100% in favour of China.

If we have undersold our goods, assets or services then thats a different matter.

Very true and most people in Australia will dismiss this comment, even some politicians in our government will sell us out to the Chinese for the $$$.

As much as I disliked ScoMo, I think he is doing a great job trying to keep the chinese influence away from government. They are putting plants and spies in governments everywhere.

US politician Dianne Fienstein had a chinese agent working for her for a decade and didn't even notice

How did those job losses go in Geelong, or is that the Chinese's fault as well?

We both know there is more to it than one factor

You are confusing Chinese dominance with Australia giving up its sovereignty. That would be something to be scared about, but that is not happening.

China will become the dominant power in the world; it is just a matter of time, and economic and military superiority to the USA.

Australia does not just hand over the keys to the country when that happens, far from it. Sure we have to be ever watchful of Chinas influence on Australia, but at the same time we can turn a lot of things to our advantage.

We need to be smart not scared.

Depends on what is being sold and owned, I don't mind foreign ownership in reason but national interests should be considered....don't you think so! or do you believe in selling every asset Australia has?
Have a look at privatisation in the last 20 years; our money is going overseas with the blessing of our governments and we are paying through our nose for services and goods.
