Default AUX cable line noise

Hey guys, i've had this ASL IPOD auxillary cable for a while now, and ive recently been getting this really bad engine noise through the speakers
here's a video of it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udmaGKsjqxc

this is with the volume turned all the way up, and the charging fuse taken out.
by the way i have a four gage power cable running down the side of the car for a sub and amp, but im a bit confused as to why this is only an issue when the ICC is on the auxillary option.

cheers guys.
